Lenten Quiet Day with Dorcas and Martha/Saturday 2/21
Dorcas – the dressmaking widow entrepreneur, taking care of business, and taking care of others. True charity – living for that greater purpose of loving God and neighbor – true witness. Cast for dead – raised by the power of God in prayer – Lent is all about that-Knowing, accepting, and sharing God’s Healing Power.
Martha – the busy, harried, mutitasking worker hospitalitess (less?) As we take up the work and responsibility required of faith – don’t forget the Goal: Knowing, accepting, and sharing God’s Healing Power.
