{"id":1472,"date":"2020-06-07T08:18:51","date_gmt":"2020-06-07T12:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/standrewsharlem.org\/blog\/?p=1472"},"modified":"2020-06-07T08:18:51","modified_gmt":"2020-06-07T12:18:51","slug":"6-7-trinity-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/standrewsharlem.org\/blog\/?p=1472","title":{"rendered":"6\/7  Trinity Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>And God saw that it was good\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/standrewsharlem.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/trin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1475\" src=\"http:\/\/standrewsharlem.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/trin-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"145\" height=\"145\" srcset=\"https:\/\/standrewsharlem.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/trin-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/standrewsharlem.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/trin-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/standrewsharlem.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/trin.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 145px) 100vw, 145px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Today the Church celebrates the Feast of the Holy Trinity \u2013 our belief in the One God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit \u2013 One God: the Creator, the Redeemer and the Sanctifier.\u00a0 The Three in One and One in Three.\u00a0 In his proclamation of the Trinity St. Athanasius declared it to be \u201cincomprehensible\u201d \u2013 beyond our limited human understanding.\u00a0 Today as we celebrate our belief in the One God, we cry out with many in the world in the declaration that Black Lives Matter and in condemnation of the Lie of White Supremacy and the other many lies by which the world operates.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>When our God finished creating the world, he declared it to be \u201cGood\u201d.\u00a0 But it didn\u2019t take long for the Lie to enter with the promise: You can be like God.
